Riding Day Eight - June 29 to Clark Falls, ID

Today's ride was both wonderful and difficult. It was wonderful along Lake Pend D'Oreille; it was a glorious and sunny morning. The views were serene; then came the heat, over 90 degrees and the complete lack of shade.

Trying an artsy shot while riding

Mike and I in Hope, ID
This area around Sandpoint, ID, is a democratic and yuppy enclave. I didn't see any hint of the aryan nation, except for a confederate flag but I was going too fast to photograph.

Skipped the big hill, for a change

Another pretty spot
