Riding Day Seven - June 28 to Athol, ID

Leaving the Ganzaga dorm in the morning

Along the Centennial Trail out of Spokane

The morning was beautiful. The air cool, clean and crisp. The ride was along the centennial trail, through the trees, paralleling the rushing Spokane river. The rivers are unusually full and swift due to the extraordinary snow falls this past winter throughout the North West. It was magical and exilarating.

I typically start riding around 7 AM to cover ground before the sun is directly overhead and the heat rises.
