I particularly liked the double-wide "check-to-cheek" seat....now just close your eyes and think about someone who would be comfortable on that doing your cross-country jaunt. As you're climbing your way through New England just remember "it's all downhill from here"...it's all good as well.

Did you ride the Minnie Ha-Ha at Lake George? I remember going to Fort William Henry as a camper, then going into Lake George to play Miniature Golf and Pinball Machines.

We so enjoyed meeting you at Silver Bay YMCA of the Adirondacks (www.silverbay.org)! It was fun sharing bicycle seat stories and having Jim and Larry and you try out our trikes and Bike Fridays. Congratulations on your cross-country accomplishment. (Wish it had been us!) We enjoyed your blog photos and it was fun to see ourselves there! Come visit Silver Bay again - and bring the whole family!

The YMCA Conference Center was a great stopover for us. It should have been a rest day so we could have spent another day enjoying the ambiance, good food, good company, and excellent facilities. And, it's always good weather!
